Ok, so we moved into our new apartment on Thursday, Day 16. It is the third and top floor of building, a mere 8 minute walk from P’s work. This place is huge. P likes to describe it as “palatial.” The apartment has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a rather large kitchen, and a HUGE living room. It came lightly furnished (the essentials — bed, couch, and desk — all the furniture in the pictures belongs to the landlord) and a guest bed has been ordered. The apartment is bright and airy and very echo-y. We absolutely love this place, despite the fact that there is no central A/C. Central A/C doesn’t really exist in Korea. Newer homes have A/C units in every room, but our apartment is not new. It is in a traditional home, and maintains a lot of that charm. To include one A/C unit in the living room. I will let you know how that treats us this summer.

The details in the apartment are gorgeous and nothing I write can do it justice. The biggest thing, though, is we have a private roof. Yes, that’s right. Somehow, we found an apartment in an apartment building where we are the only ones allowed on the roof. How cool is that? Yes, we would love to have you over for a BBQ this spring. Let us know when your plane lands.

**Please excuse the mess, we are in the middle of a move.
