Earlier this month, P and I took a trip to Cambodia. It was originally supposed to be an anniversary trip; however, work got in the way, and it became more of a babymoon.

We visited Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and the Angkor Temples. There was so much more we wanted to see, but considering I was in my seventh month of pregnancy, we decided to take things slow (and stick to areas that are known to be malaria free). The trip was absolutely amazing and we will certainly return one day. Not only do we want our sweet son to see this beautiful country and its equally beautiful citizens, but we want to see all the places we didn’t get to visit on this trip!

The best part of the trip was, hands down, the people. The culture in Cambodia is so welcoming and friendly. The country’s recent history is absolutely terrible, yet the joy of the Khmer people cannot be hidden. It is truly amazing.

These pictures are just from our time in Phnom Penh, but I promise more are coming!
